Animal Not Found Dialog
This dialog may be shown while you
are importing test day data from a file. If DairyLive finds a
record in the file for an animal that is not in the database,
this dialog will be shown to alert you to this fact. You can ask
DairyLive to skip the animal, automatically add the animal to the
herd database, or you can alter the barn name to one that already
exists.
This may occur when you have added
an animal with a barn name that has more than the number of
characters that your DHIA testing lab uses for barn names. The
first time DairyLive sees the shortened barn name, it will not
know if it is a new animal or an existing one. This dialog allows
you to resolve that question.
This dialog may also be shown when
you are importing data for an animal that is not yet in your herd
database.
