Edit Event Dialog

You use the Edit Event dialog to edit an existing event for a single animal. You can get to this dialog from the Event View by selecting an existing event and pressing the Edit button. You can also get to this dialog from the Animal Details view on the Events page.

Apply Event To

This list shows the name of the animal to which this event was applied. You cannot change this field.

Event Date

This shows the date of the event. You can change this value. See Entering Dates.

Operator

This shows the name of the operator who observed or recorded this event. You can also change this value.

Event Type

This shows the type of event that was recorded. You can change the event type if you want, but you will be warned about losing additional information about the event. See Event Types for an explanation of the standard event types.

 

Cost

Enter the cost of this event, if you are using DairyLive for tracking event costs. The default for the cost will depend on how the event type is set up.

 

Notes

You can type any additional comments about the event into this field.

 

Additional Event Information

Depending on what type of event this is, this table will show additional information about the event. You can change this information if you want.
