This dialog is used to setup a billing profile. You get to this dialog by selecting an item in the Billing Profile category in the Herd Explorer and then selecting Object->Open from the main menu.
A billing profile is a description of how you want to charge your customer for raising a heifer. Each heifer can be assigned to a billing profile.
DairyLive can generate periodic charges for things such as feed, housing, and so on. It can also generate a "one-time" charge. For example, you may charge a one-time processing fee of $25.00 when a heifer enters the herd, plus $1.15 a day until the heifer is 60 days old, then $1.25 a day to 300 days old, and then $1.50 a day from then on. To set this up, you would add four periodic charges: One for the processing fee, and three for the daily fees (one for each age range). DairyLive will use this information to automatically generate invoices for your customers.
A billing profile can also specify that the customer be charged for the actual weight gain. You can also specify that the customer be charged for the cost of events. For example, you may have a daily flat fee plus a breeding fee, which you want charged back to the customer. (To set up the event costs, see the Event Type dialog.)
