This dialog is used for setting up what additional information you want to collect for an event type. To get to this dialog, you must first be editing an event type. See Event Type Dialog.
When you set up an event type, you can define additional "event information fields". You can have as many of these fields as you want. When you add an event (see Add Event Dialog), you will be prompted for the additional information that you defined for that event type.
The event types that came with DairyLive may already have some of these fields defined. You can add additional ones or change the existing ones using this dialog.
| Text | The data can be any text. Provide a maximum text length. |
| Integer | The data can be any whole number, such as 2. Decimal points are not allowed. You can provide a valid range of values. |
| Floating Point | The data can be any real number, such as 4.1. Decimal points are allowed. You can provide a valid range of values. |
| Choice | The data can be a selection from a list of choices. Put each choice on a separate line next to "Choice From". To start a new line, press Enter on your keyboard. |
| Sire Name | The data can the barn name of a male animal or a semen inventory. |
