Event Reminder Dialog

This dialog is used for setting up what reminders you want to to be automatically generated when you enter an event of a certain type. To get to this dialog, you must first be editing an event type. See Event Type Dialog.

When you set up an event type, you can define "resulting reminders". You can have as many of these as you want. When you add an event (see Add Event Dialog), the reminders will automatically be created for you and shown to you in the Add Event dialog.

The event types that come with DairyLive may already have some of these reminders defined. You can add additional ones or change the existing ones using this dialog.

Event Type

Select the type of reminder you want to be created when this event occurs. NOTE: If you want a reminder to be created that is the same type as the event type that you are creating, and the event type does not appear in the list, cancel from this dialog, and then press OK in the Event Type dialog. Now edit the event type and return to the Event Reminder dialog.

Days Later

In this field, you enter the number of days from the event that you want this reminder to be created. For example, if you enter 30, when an event of this type occurs, a reminder will be created that has a date of 30 days from the event date.
